I’m being dead serious here. I know I joke a lot and fangirl a lot and say frivolous things, but I’m dead serious in what I’m about to say.

If I am lucky enough to find a fella who looks at me the way Gene looked at Betsy, he’s going to have my heart wrapped up in a box with a ribbon. Holy smokes.

Look at any picture of them together where his eyes are fixed on her. THAT IS BALD-FACED LOVE RIGHT THERE, MY LAWD. He always has the sweetest expression on his face. Makes me wonder how or where things could have gone wrong, because he looks like he just adores her.

I tell you…they’re not even my OTP and I kinda ship it, tbh.
