I was watching Singin’ in the Rain. The part that stops me from loving it was the gotta dance scene.

I just realized Gene’s ridiculous hat and glasses combo was Harold Lloyd (but the comftorable jacket is just…out there).

And that chick with great legs (joking, that’s impolite) was Louise Brooks.

And that guy with the scar who was flipping the coin was George Raft (and considering Scarface was early 30’s and this movie is set in the late 20’s, ‘tis a strange reference.)

Anyway guys I feel so incredibly stupid for not realizing this sooner.

I like the movie just a teensy bit more because of it. Gotta Dance is less intolerable to sit through. Intolerable all the same, but less so.

Ohhhhh myyyyyy goshhhhhh…. HOW did I totally miss this before and not get the reference?
