All these people posting about politics on facebook are honestly pissing me the fuck off. I care about politics to a certain degree, but I sure as hell don’t go crazy over it. I literally have people on my facebook posting “If you don’t vote Obama unfriend me now!” or “If you don’t vote Romney you’re an idiot.” Honestly when it comes to politics I am pretty moderate, it is not something that I’m passionate about. It is totally fine if you are, but you are not going to convince people when you post stuff like that. People are allowed to have their own opinions about things, you shouldn’t not be friends with someone or not communicate with people because they disagree with you. In all honesty the only thing that I have an opinion on politics wise is us dealing with our own country before anywhere else. We are trillions of dollars in debt and we need to deal with the fact that 1 in 10 Americans are homeless. Why are we sending out money to help other countries when we have that problem in our own? Also I don’t get why whenever anything happens anywhere we are expected to jump up and help other countries, but when something like 9/11 or Katrina happens we are supposed to stand up and help ourselves. Frankly I think we need to fix our problems before we go anywhere else, not that I don’t feel horrible for other countries in need, and if we had extra funds, then by all means lets go for it, but we don’t. We do however have an enormous debt and plenty of people starving and needing a home in our own country, so lets start there, I really believe that’s the only way we can fix all this.
