Let me put it this way—my theory of “if you want to keep loving someone, it’s best to not know anything about them” just flew out the window.

Granted, I’m only about 25 pages into the bio, but from what I’m reading currently, I just love him. Sure it’s just one author’s point of view, but Gene comes across as dedicated, hard-working, gallant, and devoted. He was such a remarkable man, I’m really sorry it took me almost two years to actually start looking into his life.

Why are the good ones always dead? :/
